    Minn kota trolling motor pedal

I have a 80lb minn kota terrova and im looking for an alternative to the original foot pedal. Im putting on an elevated deck and want to have something i can control by hand like the pedals with the sexy stick on it. I dont want to ruin the pedal i have and im trying to not pay $170 for a new pedal to mod. Any ideas?

Mine was always bolted rite thru base pedal, is there a way you could clamp a stick onto the pedal? Has to be a way you could build bottom of stick with a flange or something that would clamp on.

The terrova is an electric pedal, right? Think you're SOL if so..

I looked that model up, gonna be harder than I thought the way it sets. Maybe mount it under a home made stand that you could put pedal under and when you move the stick it hits the pedal in certain spots. That make sense? Like a bridge over top of it almost.

Thanks that'll help a lot even if i just press the left and right buttons instead of using a joystick it will work. That way i wont have to drill into the pedal or anything

I bet that would work really well for the terrova pedal. Just make a joystick and some very small self taping screws

I suppose if you don't want to drill holes in your foot pedal you could try some adhesive Velcro. Place some on the bottom of the foot pedal and to your post and then some on top of the foot pedal and on your joystick.

May need to replace occasionally, but you will at least be able to test without drilling holes in your foot pedal.
