Found a pistol in the river bed under the bridge during the drought last year. Police got that.

Found a safe down river from that. Door had been blow torched.

Found a bag full of "toys" and porn on the bank. Saw it for a couple trips then It was gone. Wtf would pick something like that up?

    Stolen car under water.

Arrows, broad heads, bullets, sunk boat,anchor,tackle,rod/reels, lots of trash.

Shot a 5'10" gar out of a canoe on a solo trip once. Fought it for 1/2 hour. I get it to the bank and there stands a huge guy with a whiskey bottle. He watched the whole fight and was impressed then told me about the three men he shot .

I found a model T hood with a hole from an ax in it near some old moonshine stills. That and the metal bands from the barrels. Makes me wonder if the car was there when the stills were busted up.

Found a big knife under a bridge one night bowfishing, didn't think much about it at the time but but now I can only think of one reason for someone to throw a knife off a bridge!

Big harbor freight magnet on a rope around a bridge find all kinds of stuff... Knew a guy fishing a bass tourney and another angler in the tourney pitched up over a " floating log" and got snagged on it, ended up being leg of dead black man, we almost fished a Saturday night then was on news Sunday night that found body of missing person where we were gonna fish earlier in the day Sunday. Kinda glad didn't fish that night

We find all sorts of stuff after hurricanes down here!! The most interesting thing we found was an empty canoe floating freely one night. We got right up on it and discovered two bodies stacked on the bottom of the canoe. Once the lights and genny noise kicked in and distracted the bodies, they popped up and revealed some nakedness!! Embarassing for all needless to say but I give them bonus points for creativity and balance. Funny thing is we didn't see any paddles.........not sure if they knew they floated off during the heat of the pounding. I think they thought they were still tied up to a dock or something.

I was mule deer hunting by Bond colorado. I was five or six miles away from the road and found a head stone in a cedar thicket. The only this you can read is 1886 and age of 1 1/2.

There was a car in the river so a guy in our club called the PD. They didn't know it was there so they sent divers down to check it out. A year later they had it pulled out. It was an old Cadillac. A buddy found an old 5hp outboard from around the 50's or 60's.

I grew up deer hunting in Maine and there was a hermit living in the woods around North Pond. He was ex-military, Vietnam, and couldn't fit into society anymore. He would break into camps around the lake and steal books and batteries, but nobody ever saw him. I was climbing a steep hill about 2 miles from my friend's cabin and hit a small plateau and sure enough stumbled right into his campsite. It was a camper shell set on a make-shift shelter and there was a camp chair and a fire ring. I poked around a little, but didn't stay too long. He didn't appear to be there, but who knows. I'm sure I wouldn't have seen him if he didn't want me to.

It was creepy finding them, out in the middle of a section full of cedar trees. There were about 5 trees that were maybe 20 feet taller than the rest that I went to look at and found these headstones beneath them (I assume those 5 trees were originally planted in a cemetery) About 20 headstones or so, mostly of children from 1890-1910.
