    Florida Bowfishers

    Hi I'm Zollie with Bowfishing Association of Florida and I'm wanting to see how many members on here lives in Florida. I would also like to know what part of Florida you live in as well.

    I'm thinking about coming down to Okechobee to pick up a boat in the next couple of weeks w TJ. If we came down, woułd anybody be willing to take us out? I would return the favor here in Indiana w a shoot on the Wabash for Asians or whatever......

    Just hate to drive all the way down there and not kill

    I shot the St. John's around lake Monroe and lake Monroe .the lake is really good hug talapia and catfish and gar everywhere

    I love Sarasota brings back a lot of memories w the old high school g friend that lives there now. I would get me a.. in a lot of trouble if I stopped there but what the he.. I'll be in. Still trying to work out a deal on the SD boat. Thanks for the offers guys...... I'll keep ya posted

    Dang tons of bowfisher men/women starting to pop up here in Florida. Maybe we should all plan to do a fun shoot/ meet and greet!

    That would be cool. I don't think its as popular down here as it is more north. Im looking to stick some flounder soon.

    Yeah. Right now they are spawning so they are in very shallow under mangrove overhang. Watch for them in the water or you can spot them by watching for twitching branches (which they are feeding off of under water).

    Bowfishing Association of Florida and Bull Creekin Bowfishing Club is going to host a bowfishing tournament on May 3-4 2014 at Bass World Lodge and Marina in Georgetown, Fl. (Crescent City)
    They are working on the flyer.

    Not to airboat friendly, need a kicker boat for the indian river, already got a airboat for the st. johns

    Which is odd because of all the manatees you would think airboats would be allowed. I personally shoot from a kayak. I like to fish the Cocoa beach area this time of year and shoot sheeps and black drum.

    Received my new Quick Draw rest today, stuck it on my new Kingfisher and got me my first kill on the Kingfisher about 20 minutes ago from this posting.
